Rights of Patient and Relatives

Each individual who presented to our hospital for diagnosis and treatment may always claim his/her rights that are written and adopted by our staff. All patients and relatives who entered our hospital through any entrance are educated on “Rights and Responsibilities of Patients and Relatives”.

Access to Services

Each patient presenting to our hospital has the right to benefit from all our services, regardless of his/her thoughts and social characteristics.

The patients have the right to choose physician and/or healthcare facility and change them at any stage of the treatment. As long as our patients request in writing, all records can be transferred to any person or institution instructed by the patient.

Right to Be Respected

Our patients and relatives have the right to receive services in a respectful, kind, compassionate and good humored environment, where individual reputation is protected, at any time and in any case.

Right of Privacy

Our patients have the right to reject to speak or see any person who is not directly involved in the care or treatment of the patient, including visitors.

Our patients have the right to request privacy of their personal medical information, even after death. Such information is disclosed to the related authorities only if there is a written and clear approval of the patient or his/her heir, or a court order.

Right to Request Information

Our patients have the right to request accurate and complete information and to claim a copy of the documents related to the diagnosis, treatment, course of the treatment and to review thereof.

Right to Refuse the Planned Treatment

Our patients have the right to refuse the recommended treatment. Possible outcomes of the refusal are explained by the physician and the patient is asked to sign a document to declare that all explanations are clearly understood.

Right to Know Rules and Regulations

Patients have the right to be informed about rules and regulations of the hospital that apply to him/her. Our patients have the right to claim correction for incorrect condition and treatment on medical records and incorrect data on the invoice.

Obligation of Compensation

The patient will indemnify any damage or loss caused intentionally or by faulty use of a fixture or consumables of the hospital.

Visiting and Accompanying Policy

Being supported by relatives and seeing the loved ones affect the healing process positively for our guests during their stay in hospital. Visiting the patients is a fitting example of public cooperation. Since properly made patient visit is important for both your and patients' health, we kindly request you to be careful with the issues identified below.

  • Visiting hours are between 10:00-22:00 every day.
  • You should ensure that there are not more than two visitors in room and visits are restricted with 10 minutes.
  • Please mind the privacy of patients and relatives during your visit.
  • Do not bring children younger than 7 years of age for patient visit in inpatient clinics and younger than 16 years of age in Intensive Care Units.
  • If visiting and/or accompanying is not allowed by your primary physician, try to comply with.
  • Visitor who stays in room after 22:00 is accepted as companion. Only 1 companion can accompany the patients after 22:00.
  • Patient care is provided only by medical staff in our hospital, please do not intervene the patients in any way.
  • You should follow instructions about use of cell phone.
  • Do not speak loudly near patients and in corridors for the peace of our patients and use the televisions in rooms non-disruptively.
  • Do not bring food or drink from outside to preserve our patients’ health.
  • Please do not make direct contact with the patient for both the patients’ and your own health. Please wash your hands and use hand disinfectant before and after your visit.
  • Please avoid the behaviors reflecting your emotional status like crying or yelling since they may hurt our patients.
  • If you see a warning sign hanged on patient's room during your visit, do not enter patient’s room before you see the nurse.
  • Please carefully follow the instructions of our health staff during your visiting for the patients in isolated rooms.
  • Do not visit your patients outside the determined visiting hours for Intensive Care Patient Visit.
  • Flowers are not accepted in patients’ room due to the risk of infection. Flowers brought in the name of patient will be delivered during discharge.
  • Smoking outside the certain areas is absolutely restricted.
  • Pets are not allowed in our hospital, please be careful not to bring them.
